He will restore you... you are embittered about something. I don't attribute anything, but to individual choices we make and act upon. I am the cause of my successes or problems. The choices and actions of others also have influenced my existence and infect or promote those choices, be they good or bad. I am a free moral agent and choose to worship the creator Jesus. He is awesome! (but you do have to seek him and obey Him to experience that awesomeness).

You probably got a dose of the weak Gospel. You know...heaven- hell... the sweet by and by...be a good boy. God can baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with Fire. You will experience transforming power to manifest your ultimate destiny, have purpose (other than just sensuality and materialism) and experience the touch of the Master's Hand. Amazing stuff. The Creator of this universe will blow your mind!

I have had so many experiences with God and the Holy Spirit I cannot count them... But I pursue God with all my heart and take action on His written word, the Bible. I once was an atheist, too.  Now, when I do the first thing I know to do (by being instructed in The Word)... I am given the next, some are hard and take time. And I have rebelled at times too. But when I continue on The Word proves true. This Faith is not just some mindless whimsical fantasy and you seam to be attributing to believers, but based upon historical facts and continual present daily experience.

The Holy Spirit lives in the written word (Logos) until we take it by faith and act upon it. Then it becomes living or alive in us (Rhema) It is this (Rhema) word in us built in over time...Line upon line precept upon precept that transforms us more and more into the image and likeness of God's character and will bring us ultimately into the destiny that we were created for. As we do this we experience increasing joy. The Holy Spirit is alive in us in this way and confirms this truth in our daily reality. When He overflows out of us (by our words and actions lined up with his purposes))... He transforms things and people around us for our good and the common good.

God is good. All good things come from Him. The Devil is bad all the evil in this earth is a result of man's individual and cumulative rebellion fuelled by the words of devils. The words of devils are words humankind has allowed themselves to speak and act upon, that have negative consequences. There origin, though, is from personalities without bodies that have been granted permission for a season to manifest themselves in words and images. Read Ephesians 6

I am going to give you an example:

Words that the Spirit of God dwells in:  "Mom, I know your feeling sick today...so I will stay home and skip my golf game so that I can clean and cook, so you can rest and get well. (The Spirit of Jesus)

Words that the spirit of satan lives in:

"Why don't you go have sex with you little sister, if you threaten her shell never tell anyone."
I know this is stark, but you should get the drift.

These words and or images dwell (Live) in the thought realm.

We can and do choose thoughts to act upon all day long. I just try to choose God's because they always lead to good things. That is why I study the Bible so I can make better informed choices.

When we begin to transform our thinking to the truth (God's Word) we begin to peel away the spiritual blindness and can begin to see and understand God and His purposes. To someone like me, being Christian for over 30 years, atheism is utter foolishness. It is almost laughable if it wasn't sad. The bible even says'    A fool in his heart says "There is no God"     I have nothing to gain by writing this to you,  other than your friendship for eternity should you choose to receive God's gift, Jesus sacrifice for your redemption from the penalty of sin. Present and eternal separation from the Creator of all good things. I just hope to steer you away from falling off that cliff.

You can be assured of eternal life and experience God's best for your life too if you so choose.
